I want to return my car early, will I be penalised in this case?

At Enterprise, we do not charge customers more for returning a car early, but this may depend on the rate initially selected, for example in the case of promotional offers or special rates.

You will only be charged for the days you had the vehicle (excluding prepaid reservations). If the office is closed when you try to return the vehicle or you are trying to return the vehicle to a different location, the following policy will apply:

- If the Enterprise office is closed:
Some offices allow returns after hours and have procedures in place or a drop box for keys for your early or late return. Please ask the car hire office for the exact procedure when you pick up your vehicle. Note that you will remain responsible for the vehicle until our office opens.
- Some agencies require that their car hire vehicles are returned during their opening hours.

- When returning to another office:
- If you return your car hire vehicle to an office other than the one initially specified in the agreement, additional drop fees may be charged.

Please note: a vehicle that is returned after hours will not be checked in until the next business day. In the event of a return outside of opening hours when an office is closed, the customer is responsible for the car hire vehicle until it is checked in on the next business day.
